This is an exciting opportunity for you to be responsible for the expansion and management of our portfolio in East Sussex and Kent. You will be involved in the full asset lifecycle, from site identification, negotiation, and land/site acquisition, to leading a team through planning, construction, and ongoing asset management. Developing relationships with landlords, tenants, authorities, agents, and developers will be key.
You will own the full development and planning process from concept to completion, requiring excellent communication and negotiation skills, multitasking, and meeting tight deadlines.

Note: Internally, this role is called Senior Acquisitions Consultant.
Responsibilities:
1. Identify, negotiate, and acquire freehold and leasehold deals for new stores.
2. Conduct site inspections, development appraisals, and manage due diligence.
3. Manage planning application lifecycle from submission to discharge of conditions.
4. Lead all expansion, relocation, and infrastructure projects.
5. Develop and maintain relationships with local authorities, landlords, tenants, and developers.
6. Manage the full development and planning process from concept to completion.
7. Oversee real estate management of assets.
Requirements:
1. Self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
2. Degree (minimum 2:2) in a relevant discipline.
3. Experience in retail acquisitions, land buying, commercial property, or town planning.
4. MRICS qualification is preferred.
5. Strong negotiation skills and a well-established network.
6. Knowledge of commercial property law and legal aspects.
7. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
8. Analytical mindset with multitasking ability.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
10. Valid driving license and flexibility to travel across the UK.
