Our client, a renowned consultancy in the water sector, is currently seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their team in London, Leeds or Manchester, with a particular focus on clean water design. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to expand their technical and operational expertise globally.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing the delivery of multidisciplinary projects, balancing demands and priorities, whilst reviewing civil infrastructure design from project proposition through to construction.
Leading the technical design and specification of potable water supply, treatment, and distribution systems, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Planning project resources and finances, and monitoring job financial performance.
Managing technical staff, including planning team workload, mentoring, and developing junior team members
Preparing and reviewing technical reports, specifications, and schedules
Applying a customer-focused approach to contribute to securing the project pipeline
Job Requirements:
Strong technical background in infrastructure design, with a demonstrable track record in potable water systems.
Experience in potable water system design, including supply, treatment, and distribution, preferably on international multidisciplinary projects.
Ability to manage and motivate a team, coupled with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Willingness to travel and lead continuous quality improvement in the work.
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Membership of a relevant professional institution.
