Role overview
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading a team of engaged Account Managers (5-6) within the PMLS product line. The team is split regionally North and South. Account Managers develop relationships with current and potential customers, pursue opportunities, and close deals in a competitive environment. Account Managers support all product lines within Patient Monitoring and Life Support (PMLS). The Sales Manager coaches, supports, and directs the team to achieve business goals and align with Mindray’s values and behaviours.
What you will be doing
* Oversee day-to-day management of the regional team of PMLS Sales Account Managers (split North and South)
* Provide leadership and address field issues for PMLS Account Managers
* Maintain, build, and forecast opportunities using the company CRM (C4C)
* Provide detailed regional reports weekly, monthly, and quarterly to the National Sales & Marketing Manager
* Act as first point of escalation for regional issues and coordinate resources to improve results
* Develop and implement action plans for PMLS Account Managers to maximise sales potential
* Coach and mentor the team to support sales growth
* Complete and monitor statistical reporting for current and future business
* Support PMLS Account Managers in senior stakeholder meetings as required
* Ensure adherence to company policies and processes
* Clinical, technical, and commercial networking
What we are looking for
* Experience leading a field-based medical device Account Management team in the PMLS portfolio
* Track record of selling PMLS products to NHS and private sector hospitals
* Demonstrated sales growth and successful business development through inspirational leadership
* Strong relationship skills with customer decision makers and cross-functional collaboration
* Excellent communication (listening, spoken and written) and IT literacy
* Ability to work in the country applied for without sponsorship
* Willingness to travel at least 70% of the time
