We are thrilled to be recruiting for a Principal Civil Engineer - Land Development to join our client in Fareham. Our client is a Fast growing, award winning structural engineering and transport planning consultancy.
As Principal Civil Engineer - Land Development, you will lead the civil design process, ensuring quality, technical excellence, and efficient project delivery across a range of infrastructure projects.
Duties and Responsibilities for a Principal Civil Engineer - Land Development
* Develop and maintain construction detail databases
* Check and review drawings for quality and accuracy
* Produce high-quality civil engineering design drawings
* Draft construction details and bespoke designs from engineer sketches
* Support engineers with technical design drawings
* Ensure all work complies with CAD and client standards
* Maintain large-scale site drawings and templates
* Assist with drainage & highway design projects
* Liaise with developers, architects, and local authorities
* Follow QMS procedures and support knowledge sharing across teams
About You / Experience required
* Chartered incorporated or working towards ICE or equivalent
* Strong leadership and mentoring skills
* Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and relevant design software
* Excellent communication and project management abilities
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver to deadlines
