About the role
My client is currently delivering a major civil engineering project in Northwest Wales, valued at approximately £200 million.
The role requires a Monitoring Surveyor responsible for overseeing monitoring and surveying activities on site safely and efficiently.
You will liaise with the client to verify that the setting out information is the latest available, provide existing site control to the construction team, and establish site control where necessary.
The Monitoring Surveyor must ensure that data, reports, and drawings related to setting out and as-built surveys are produced accurately and promptly. The role also involves delivering high-precision setting out tasks and dimensional checks of elements.
About you
Applicants should hold a Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Advanced skills in geodetic surveying and deformation monitoring are essential.
You should apply technical and practical skills to interpret drawings and specifications, ensuring work is completed within established guidelines, with clear goals, and consistently achieving the required results.
Knowledge of legislation, hazards, and safe systems of work is necessary, along with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
