Document Control Specialist (Construction Focus)
Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne
Contract: Temporary (with potential for extension)
We are currently seeking a Document Control Specialist to support a high-volume workload within a fast-paced construction environment. This is an opportunity to join a team working on major national retail projects.
🔍 Key Responsibilities:
Uploading and managing project documentation and technical drawings
Issuing documents and drawings to internal and external stakeholders
Organising and maintaining digital filing systems
Monitoring and managing a busy inbox of incoming project documentation from a major national retailer
Ensuring version control and compliance with document standards🛠️ Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience in document control within the construction industry is highly desirable.
Strong technical and IT skills, particularly with document management systems and Microsoft Office
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities⏳ Contract Details:
Temporary position initially, with the possibility of extension depending on workload and performance
Immediate start available
£25,000
23 days holiday + bank holiday
30-37.5 hours
