Real Estate Tax – Manager

We advise real estate funds, global institutional investors, REITs, private investors, and the public sector on investment into UK and pan-European real estate, providing tax structuring, compliance, and due diligence advice. Our sector coverage includes commercial, office, student housing, industrial logistics, retail, and hotels. We handle Stamp Taxes, Capital Gains, Inheritance Tax, and related niche areas.
We support flexible working arrangements, including reduced hours and job shares, to help balance work and life.
Role Overview
As a Manager in our Real Estate Tax (RET) team, you will:
1. Be part of a high-performing team with extensive sector experience, working with high-profile clients on challenging projects.
2. Develop junior team members, understanding their career aspirations.
3. Work on large, multi-jurisdictional transactions across real estate and infrastructure, with deal sizes ranging from £60m to over £1bn, offering opportunities for rapid promotion.
4. Lead your own work, engaging with clients and collaborating with the Real Estate and broader Tax teams, supported by experienced colleagues.
Candidate Requirements
The minimum criteria include:
1. ACA / ACCA / CTA qualification or equivalent.
2. UK corporate tax experience, preferably within Real Estate.
3. Experience in monitoring and coaching junior team members.
Preferred but not essential skills include tax structuring, client relationship building, international tax advice, business development, tax compliance, and setting up property funds such as UK REITs.
