Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care and support within various healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and urgent care facilities. Responsibilities
* Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities and personal hygiene.
* Monitor and record vital signs, intake, and output as part of patient assessments.
* Assist with medication administration under the supervision of licensed healthcare providers.
* Support medical staff by preparing patients for examinations and procedures.
* Maintain accurate patient records using EHR systems, ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards.
* Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers to enhance patient service experience.
* Assist in the management of clinic operations, including scheduling appointments and coordinating follow-up care.
* Ensure cleanliness and organization of patient areas to promote a safe environment.
* Participate in training programs to enhance skills related to emergency medicine, dermatology.
Skills
* Proficient knowledge of anatomy and physiology to support effective patient care.
* Experience in hospital medicine, urgent care, outpatient services, or emergency medicine settings is preferred.
* Ability to perform basic life support techniques and respond effectively in emergencies.
* Understanding of medical administrative support functions within a clinical environment.
* Strong interpersonal skills to provide compassionate patient interactions and support.
* Knowledge of medical-surgical practices and internal medicine principles is beneficial.

Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour
