Position: Female PE Teacher Location: Norwich Contract: Full-Time Start Date: September Key Stages: KS3–KS5 Physical Education Teaching Role in a Boarding School A boarding school in Norwich is seeking to appoint a Female PE Teacher to join its department from September. This is a full-time role within a school that places strong emphasis on sport, student wellbeing, and extracurricular participation. Physical Education is an important part of school life, with students encouraged to participate in a wide range of sporting activities both during the school day and through the boarding programme. About the Role You will teach Physical Education across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5, delivering lessons that include practical sports, fitness activities, and theoretical components where appropriate. You will support students preparing for GCSE and A-Level PE, helping them develop both practical performance and theoretical understanding. The role includes contributing to extracurricular sport, including fixtures, tournaments, evening activities, and wider school events linked to boarding life. You will work collaboratively within the department to maintain high standards of teaching and student engagement. Key Responsibilities Teach PE across KS3, KS4, and KS5 Deliver a range of practical sports and fitness lessons Support GCSE and A-Level PE students Lead and contribute to extracurricular sports activities Organise and attend fixtures and competitions Monitor student progress and provide structured feedback Promote physical fitness and student wellbeing Contribute to departmental planning and wider school activities The School Environment This boarding school in Norwich provides a structured and supportive environment with a strong focus on student development both inside and outside the classroom.
