We are seeking a dedicated professional to work one-to-one with a Year 4 pupil, providing consistent, nurturing support within a mainstream primary school setting. This is a full-time role, running until the end of the academic year in July 2026. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored one-to-one support to a Year 4 child with SEMH needs Foster a safe, trusting, and structured environment to promote emotional wellbeing and academic progress Collaborate closely with class teachers, SENCO, and external professionals Implement strategies to support emotional regulation, engagement, and resilience Maintain clear and consistent boundaries and routines Essential Requirements: Proven experience in one-to-one support, ideally with SEMH or similar needs Strong understanding of behaviour management and de-escalation techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Patience, empathy, and a calm, consistent approach Reliability and commitment to the full duration of the contract Desirable: Relevant qualifications in education, child development, or SEN Experience working within a primary school setting Join a supportive team and make a lasting difference in a child's life.
