Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Level 3 Nursery Nurse to join our early childhood education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and developmental support to young children in a nurturing environment. We are looking for a team member who is passionate in what they do to join our small nursery team. Our children thrive on the bond and relationships they create with the staff and friends within our Hygge style setting. Duties
* Implement age-appropriate activities that promote children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development
* Supervise children during play, meals, nap times, and other daily routines
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in your care at all times
* Maintain accurate records of children's progress, behaviour, and any incidents
* Collaborate with colleagues to organise daily schedules and special events
* Manage classroom resources efficiently and ensure the environment remains clean, safe, and stimulating
* Drive or accompany children to outings or activities as required, ensuring safety protocols are followed
Skills
* Experience with children, ideally within a nursery or early childhood setting
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
* Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare best practices
* Ability to organise activities that support children's learning through play
* Compassionate, patient, and attentive to individual children's needs
* Good organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
* Be able to communicate your thoughts and opinions to management to help further enhance the setting in ways you see fit.
* Valid driving licence for transporting children when necessary - desired but not essential
