Job Description
We are looking for a Business Analyst to provide financial, commercial and operational support to promote growth, profitability and business change by working closely with key business stakeholders in Leicester.
About The Role
On a day-today basis this is what you would be doing:
* Producing a variety of financial, commercial and operational analytical reports
* Supporting the Business Control team in both operational and financial decisions
* Identifying opportunities to make effective data-led decisions across the business
* Working on monthly variance accounts and variance analysis
* Providing month-end support to the business - including calculating bonus and overtime payments
Your Profile
We are looking for somebody who has experience in an accounting, statistical analysis or a planning role to provide analytical, commercial and financial support also to support the cross divisional objectives of the Business Control team.

* Accounting Qualification
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Good negotiation skills
* Excellent working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft programmes including PowerBI PowerPivot and SQL knowledge
* Good commercial awareness
* Effective communicator
* High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
* Experience in building and maintaining effective trust-based relationships with multiple stakeholders
