An exciting opportunity has become available for a driven individual to join our fast growing community care company as a Deputy Care Manager.
Dependable Homecare provide community care to support individuals allowing them to remain comfortable and in the familiar surroundings of their own homes. Dependable home care are a growing company with changes regularly being made to improve the service and the support towards staff and clients. Due to the growth of the company it is a fast paced environment and will require someone to have flexibility and the knowledge to be able to work quickly and effectively.
We are looking to expand the company into further areas such as Folkstone, dover and surrounding costal areas, we are looking for a deputy manager to support the Registered manager with the company growth into new areas.
We provide tailor-made domiciliary and personal care services that deliver the highest quality of health and social care, making sure we use person-centered care at the core of it.
We help our service users keep connected to their communities and connected to the things they love and enjoy most whilst maintaining as much independence as possible. Supporting and empowering our service users to live life to the fullest whilst maintaining their own independence within their own homes.
About the role:
You will be responsible for:
* Supporting the Registered Manager with the operation of the service ensuring the smooth running and the allocation and management of staff
* The delivery of excellent operational services, regularly supervising our team.
* Ensuring the effective and efficient provision of support to the people using the service
* Provide support to all of our staff and clients
* Work actively in the community to lead by example
About you:
Above all passionate about delivering the highest standards of care to our clients and their families.
You will be working along side the Registered Manager to continue building our relationships with staff and our clients.
Flexibility in your availability and working hours may vary to meet the needs of our clients.
You will be required to work every other weekend.
You will need to be able to demonstrate excellent administrative skills and be able to organise and priorities your work load.
Have experience in care management and further care qualifications would be advantageous.
Have experience of motivating and enabling a staff team to achieve good outcomes in partnership with the people we support, and with an emphasis on role modelling best practice in a care environment
Have a proven track record of achieving Good-Outstanding outcomes from CQC.
Above all, you should be as approachable, reliable and as dedicated as we are to our team and clients.
