Assistant Project Planner

The Assistant Project Planner plays a key role in assisting the planning and delivery of infrastructure projects, Reporting to the Senior Planner, this role contributes to the development, maintenance, and optimisation of project schedules and planning systems to ensure successful project execution. This is an Agile role and there is a requitement to attend meetings in our Warwick office as needed along with customer visits. Assist in creating and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6.
Reviewing activity sequencing/phasing, durations, resources, and safety requirements with the operational teams, to ensure buildable programmes are developed, understood by the team, and submitted to the Internal Project Teams in line with contractual timescales.
Provide project performance measurement and reporting.
This would be a great opportunity for someone who has gained some Project Planning experience who is looking to build on this. Help assist the development of schedules at different stages of the lifecycle, with the ability to analyses, and document inter-departmental and intra-departmental business process flows.
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Track project milestones, update progress, and flag delays or risks
Understanding of planning, schedule management, and change control.
Ability to interpret contractor plans and integrate them into master schedules
Ideally have experience within the Rail or Telecoms sector
