* Job Title: Operations Manager – Westmorland & Furness
* Location: South Cumbria
* Hours: 37.5 hours per week
* Annual Leave & Public Holidays: 25 days leave plus Bank & Public Holidays
* Accountable to: Head of Operations
* Contract: Permanent
As an Operations Manager, you will manage and develop commissioned services across Cumbria, focusing on Westmorland & Furness. Your responsibilities include providing leadership to project leads, managing teams, developing services, and ensuring contractual and performance standards are met.
You will work closely with various stakeholders including local authorities, partner organizations, and service users to promote recovery, health, and wellbeing. The role involves strategic planning, partnership development, data management, and service evaluation.
**Responsibilities include:**
1. Managing supported housing, tenancy, and community services.
2. Developing opportunities for service diversification and community engagement.
3. Monitoring service delivery, performance, and contractual compliance.
4. Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders.
5. Supporting service innovation and continuous improvement.
6. Managing budgets and resources.
7. Ensuring adherence to legislation, policies, and organizational values.
**General requirements:**
1. Professional conduct, confidentiality, and data protection compliance.
2. Effective partnership working and community engagement.
3. Flexibility in working hours and locations.
4. Commitment to personal development and organizational policies.
**Person specification:**
1. Experience in supported housing and community health services.
2. Knowledge of South Cumbria’s services and geography.
3. Leadership and contract management skills.
4. Ability to motivate and develop teams, including those with lived experience.
5. Strong communication and data management skills.
6. Full driving license and access to transport.
7. Management and Leadership Qualification.
8. Understanding of Behavioral Economics (or equivalent).
