A warm, inclusive, and nurturing Primary School in Bexley is seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join their team. The school is deeply committed to ensuring every child can flourish and succeed, offering rich learning opportunities within a supportive and well-resourced environment.
About the School:
· A genuinely inclusive and nurturing setting where every child is valued.
· Resource Provision for 40 children with EHCPs, primarily with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD).
· A newly opened Resource Provision for an additional 30 children with EHCPs whose primary need is Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).
· Strong leadership, excellent pastoral support, and a forward-thinking approach to SEND.
The Role:
As a Primary Class Teacher, you will:
· Deliver engaging and creative lessons that inspire a love of learning.
· Be part of a collaborative, supportive, and forward-thinking teaching team.
· Benefit from strong leadership support and ongoing professional development opportunities.
· Teach within the MLD Unit, working with a mixed-ability class (Year 3 to Year 1) with pupils working at an EYFS mental age.
What Were Looking For:
· A teacher with solid SEN experience, especially with MLD, SLD, or EYFS developmental levels.
· Someone proactive, positive, patient, and committed to nurturing pupil progress.
· A practitioner with the ability to differentiate effectively and create an engaging, structured learning environment.
