Purpose of the position:

The role of a Collections Agent at Redwood Collections Ltd is to proactively manage clients delinquent accounts, with view of seeking repayment in full when utilising our vast array of collection letters, emails, and telephone contact.
This will often involve negotiation with customers to secure ongoing monthly arrangements and settlement offers as well as advising your clients customers, in a professional and compliant manner, of the possible legal implications of non-payment.
Alongside of the above, our Collections Agent also assist with our internal credit control procedure, by chasing our clients for outstanding invoices.
Responsibilities & duties:
Communication - When handling the accounts, you will often involve negotiation with customers to secure ongoing monthly arrangements and settlement offers as well as advising your clients customers, in a professional and compliant manner, of the possible legal implications of non-payment.
Attention to detail - As a fully accredited and regulated company, attention to detail will also be an important factor of your day-to-day duties as a Collections Agent. As well as maintaining rapport with customers and having effective discussions daily, the correct candidate will have desire to succeed and will be proactive in ensuring their workload is managed in an organised and timely manner.
Training Programme:
As part of our ongoing commitment to nurturing and developing talented individuals, Redwood Collections Ltd have a fixed training regime, ensuring all employees are provided with the knowledge and understanding to excel within their role.
We dedicate at least one hour per week to formal training, as well as learning on an ad-hoc 'shadowing' basis.
The training is carried out with various members of the senior management team, allowing successful candidates the best possible opportunity to succeed and build a lasting career with Redwood Collections Ltd.
This position is conditional, subject to a three-month probationary period, where training will be provided throughout and progress meetings to help you develop within the role.
