POSITION OVERVIEW:
This is your chance to shape how category-defining brands maximise lifetime value, reduce churn, and create loyal customer bases that fuel long-term growth. We are seeking a strategic and data-driven E-commerce Retention Account Manager to join our team. This role focuses on maximising customer lifetime value through developing and executing comprehensive retention strategies for our key ecommerce accounts. The ideal candidate will combine analytical expertise with relationship management skills to drive sustainable growth and reduce churn.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Account Management & Strategy
: Manage a portfolio of high-value ecommerce accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for retention initiatives. Develop customised retention strategies tailored to each account's specific needs, customer segments, and business objectives. Conduct regular business reviews and present performance insights to key stakeholders.
Customer Lifecycle Management:
strategise and implement retention campaigns across the entire customer journey, from onboarding to advocacy. Create segmented approaches based on customer behavior, purchase history, and engagement patterns. Develop win-back campaigns for lapsed customers and loyalty programs for high-value segments.
Data Analysis & Optimisation:
Monitor and analyse key retention metrics, including churn rate, customer lifetime value, repeat purchase rate, and engagement scores. Use data insights to identify at-risk customers and proactively implement retention interventions. Create detailed reports and recommendations for account optimisation.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
* 3+ Years of Experience
: Proven experience in Retention strategies within a performance-driven marketing or advertising agency, specifically within eCommerce.
* eCommerce Expertise
: Strong understanding of eCommerce, consumer psychology, and how creative impacts different stages of the buying journey.
* Conversion-Focused Mindset
: Ability to create engaging, conversion-oriented ad content that drives results.
* Strong Communication Skills
: Excellent ability to articulate intended strategies and concepts to both internal teams and clients.
* Collaboration and Teamwork
: Proven ability to work cross-functionally with design, video production, and performance marketing teams to bring ideas to life.
* Data-Driven Approach
: Ability to use data and performance insights to drive creative decisions and optimisations.
* Storytelling Skills
: Expertise in developing narratives that connect emotionally with audiences while delivering clear, actionable messaging.
