This is a rare opportunity for a Senior Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to play a key role in the growth of a well-established regional firm in Sheffield.
This role offers the chance to step into an already strong and busy department handling high-quality probate work.
Who we’re looking for
* 10+ years’ Private Client experience
* Strong probate and estate administration background
* Proven billing track record
* Supervisory experience
* Experience in business development and referrer growth
* Commercially aware, collaborative and hands‑on
* Trusts and/or Court of Protection experience (Desired)
* STEP qualified (Desired)
* Experience dealing with HNW clients (Desired)
What you’ll be doing
* Managing your own probate-heavy caseload (wills & LPAs included)
* Supporting and supervising junior team members
* Building internal referral relationships with property, litigation and corporate teams
* Developing relationships with IFAs, accountants and other local referrers
* Contributing to the strategic growth of the department
* Leading an established probate-focused team
* Taking pressure off senior leadership across multiple offices
* Building a strong leadership presence
Over time, there is scope to develop lifetime planning, Trusts and Court of Protection capability and to play a meaningful role in long‑term succession planning.
