Overview • Senior Analyst, Strategy – Strategy, Excellence, and Operations Team (IMK Co-Presidents’ Office) • Senior Analyst, Excellence will work with teams in the SEO and across IMK to support and lead projects, drive insights, and monitor the health of the IMK business. • The role will be responsible for driving transformational change across the IMK business by supporting the execution on the strategy for the new operating design. • The Senior Analyst position comes with ample exposure to IMK’s strategic and transformational priorities and access to senior leadership discussions • This position interacts with a wide range of cross-regional and cross-functional stakeholders, including Capabilities, Finance, P&C, Sales, CD etc. These also include senior stakeholders. • Reporting to: Director, Excellence – Strategy, Excellence, and Operations Role • Translate key strategies into execution plans, working with operations functions to track and measure key KPIs against new operating model • Create project driven material including project plans, trackers, and executive level content that is dynamic, engaging and of quality • Participate in the identification of key strategic priorities for IMK • Lead and support 1-2 key projects every quarter with participation from subject matter experts within IMK e.g. B2B strategy and with regional teams, as required • Structure ambiguous problems and take action to solve them • Synthesize clear takeaways from complex information into clear takeaways and recommendations using both qualitative and quantitative methods • Work effectively with diverse teams to come up with the best solution and move people and IMK functions / regions to act • Establish trust-based relationships with internal clients to better serve their organizations • Communicate effectively with all audiences, including senior leaders, in a structured manner • Develop your leadership style, leveraging your own passions, strengths, and personal values About you: • Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university with consistent outstanding academic record; Advanced degree or MBA is preferred • 1-2 years of business management or consulting experience in a reputed company • Proven record of high performance and substantial achievements in your past positions • Ideally need expertise in financial services and payments • Solid functional knowledge, including but not limited to strategy, business development and project management • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem solving skills • Demonstrated leadership ability in a team environment • Initiative taker, eager to break new ground, create opportunities for others • Willingness to take personal risks - as seen through leadership roles - in work environment and extracurricular activities • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization • Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively • Fluency in English is a must Corporate Security Responsibility All activities involving access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks comes with an inherent risk to the organization and, therefore, it is expected that every person working for, or on behalf of, Mastercard is responsible for information security and must: • Abide by Mastercard’s security policies and practices; • Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed; • Report any suspected information security violation or breach, and • Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard’s guidelines.
