We are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to support a Berkshire based client for a May start.
Responsibilities
* Project engineering small packages of works.
* Delivery of a portfolio of small–medium sized projects in accordance with the company project roadmap throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring governance to current engineering standards and compliance with CDM regulations.
* Strict GMP compliance to be adhered to throughout the lifecycle of the project.
* Coordination with the Principal Contractor and all other project team members to ensure completion to schedule.
* Project management services to oversee the completion of snags and any construction defects identified.
* Project management services to oversee the completion of any installation, commissioning and qualification by liaising with the vendor, company Validation and any other company teams.
* Weekly project progress reporting to the company Portfolio Manager.
* Weekly project reporting to the PM Group/company Alliance Manager.
Qualifications
* Project Engineer / Project Manager experience in managing cross functional teams, delivering complex manufacturing facility and processing projects, in a highly automated GMP production environment.
* Pharmaceutical industry experience.
* Equipment, facility & process experience.
* Demonstrated capacity to effectively manage and execute projects from initiation to completion.
* Full project lifecycle experience from end-to-end design through to C&Q and handover.
* Understands project management process: programming, scope development, design development, implementation and project closeout.
* Execution/adherence – demonstrated record of on-time delivery.
* Demonstrable record of delivering right‑first‑time handover of documentation.
* Ability to work with end‑user on developing operating procedures, maintenance & calibration plans.
* Strong understanding of the principles of Good Manufacturing Practices.
