About
EduTalent Group are seeking an SEN Teacher to join a specialist education setting supporting pupils with additional needs. This role involves planning and delivering inclusive, differentiated lessons, developing individual learning plans, and working closely with multi-disciplinary teams to support each child’s holistic development. You will contribute to a nurturing, structured learning environment while promoting high standards and inclusion across the school. Temporary to permanent and permanent contracts are available.
Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/PGCE) or equivalent; unqualified candidates considered with relevant experience
• Experience teaching pupils with SEND or additional needs, including autism, learning or speech and language difficulties
• Knowledge of curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment strategies tailored to SEND
• Ability to create and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and EHCP targets
• Strong classroom management and behaviour support skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage with pupils, parents, and colleagues
• Competent ICT skills to support teaching, learning, and assessment
• Flexible, collaborative, and committed to continuous professional development
• Understanding of safeguarding, equality, and inclusive education best practices
Benefits
• Salary: £30,500 – £40,500 per annum
• Full-time, 38.5 hours per week, term-time only
