Work Location: Flexible depending on location as office base can be in Exeter, South Devon or North Devon.

We are looking for a Social Care Assessor to work within the Devon Safeguarding Adults Service (DSAS). DSAS receives safeguarding contacts and referrals across Devon, providing the initial response and applying duties under the Care Act 2014.

As a Social Care Assessor within the team, you will need to be flexible and adaptable to fulfil the various duties of the role which currently includes taking calls from people seeking advice and support and screening and responding to emails. You will work within the team of Social Care Assessors, Social Workers, Team Managers and Advanced Practitioner.
