We’re looking for an engaging, community minded professional to help shape an exciting new chapter for Lacock - Home of Photography, while also supporting activity at The Courts Garden. This role will focus on building relationships, developing partnerships, and creating opportunities for meaningful participation. You’ll play a key part in supporting our volunteer teams and helping to deliver our evolving vision for these much loved places. Salary: £26,793 per annum Contract: Permanent Hours/ working pattern: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Interview date: 20th March 2026, we will be flexible for redeployees to bring this date forwards as required. What it's like to work here Visitors flock to this quirky 13th century abbey to enjoy the museum dedicated to photographic pioneer William Henry Fox Talbot. Outdoor theatre, photography exhibitions and family trails are among the innovative events run by the 40 staff members and local volunteers, making for a lively and fun visitor experience. For more information about our property please visit What you'll be doing • Building strong, positive relationships with local communities, organisations, and groups. • Developing partnerships and co creation projects that deepen engagement and support our vision for Lacock. • Working closely with volunteer managers, offering guidance and helping to grow volunteering pathways. • Creating new opportunities for participation, ensuring they reflect community needs and interests. • Contributing to the development of our visitor experience through collaborative, people focused approaches. • Working across both Lacock and The Courts Garden to connect people with our places in meaningful ways.
