An excellent opportunity to join a Rapidly Growing Health Tech Business. They are looking for a tech savvy and experienced Privacy and Digital Lawyer to join their team on a permanent basis. One of its key responsibilities will be to identity “problems to solve” and opportunities to improve efficiency of tasks and processes by selecting, implementing, and monitoring privacy and compliance tools.
Reporting to the Legal Director & Head of Global Privacy it will work closely with other counsels of group and with key stakeholders like information security, tech and certain business areas.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Monitor, maintain, improve and develop global privacy procedures and initiatives to ensure compliance of GDPR requirements (for example, ROPA, data retention, data subject rights, data breaches)
* Stay up to date of emerging privacy trends, identify areas of improvement and together with our Legal Ops Manager, select and implement privacy tools to streamline processes as well as to improve efficiency and compliance
* Deliver metrics to support identification of trends and issues
* Deal with data breach management
* Provide legal advice and guidance re. privacy and digital regulations to marketing, sales and customer success (and to People where needed)
* Lead tracking technologies (cookies) and “adtech” projects/initiatives
* Conduct privacy impact assessments, legitimate interest balances and advise on risk mitigation strategies.
* Work closely with other counsels and cross-functional teams (including our Product Counsels, Information Security and Tech Team) to implement legal initiatives and integrate best practices into internal operations.
* Provide training and awareness to employees
* Conduct assessments to analyze and monitor compliance digital regulations.
* Identify, flag, measure and documents legal risks and support the group wide privacy risk management,
* Draft and review third party contracts with vendors and suppliers
REQUIREMENTS
* EU Law Degree
* 5 year of experience in providing EU privacy
* 2 years of experience in privacy ops and in implementing privacy tools
* Ideally previous experience in digital regulations (e.g. DSA)
* Prior experience developing playbooks and policies
* Result oriented
