Administrator – Granulation and Extrusion
Location: Antrim (Camden / Greystone)
Salary: £12.82 per hour
Hours: 20-25 hours per week (Monday-Friday, between 8:00am – 5:00pm)
About the Role
We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrator to support the Granulation and Extrusion departments. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and dynamic recycling manufacturing environment, where you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of both teams.
You will provide comprehensive administrative support, maintain accurate production records, and assist with communication across multiple departments, including manufacturing, maintenance, quality, and logistics.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
1. Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to the Granulation and Extrusion Managers
2. Maintain and organise departmental documentation, records, and filing systems
3. Handle correspondence, emails, and telephone enquiries
Production Administration
4. Record and maintain accurate production data and performance information
5. Compile daily, weekly, and monthly production reports
6. Update spreadsheets, databases, and internal systems
7. Monitor production targets, efficiencies, downtime, and waste figures
8. Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and within required timescales
General Duties
9. Maintain a professional and organised working environment
10. Support continuous improvement initiatives
11. Comply with Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards
12. Undertake any additional duties appropriate to the role
Person Specification
Essential Criteria
13. Previous administrative experience, ideally within a manufacturing, production, or industrial setting
14. Excellent organisational and time management skills
15. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
16. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
17. Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
18. Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively
19. Able to work independently and as part of a team

20. Experience within a recycling, plastics, or manufacturing environment
21. Knowledge of production reporting and inventory processes
