Pay range is $18.45-$19.05 per hour, Monday-Friday schedule with shifts 6:15-9am and/or 2:15-6pm, and opportunities to grow within the organization
As a Site Team Lead, you will work to ensure the implementation of positive youth development practices with all daily activities and interactions with children. The Site Team Lead is responsible for ensuring program quality, including assisting in implementing curriculum, providing leadership and guidance to staff, and overseeing the ordering and distribution of snacks, materials, and supplies needed to operate the program. They will also provide direct service when necessary to execute the program. Position Responsibilities
* Implement program curriculum with staff, ensuring compliance with DCFS and YMCA standards
* Provide guidance to staff onsite to maintain program quality standards
* Facilitate collaboration and lead staff meetings
* Enhance parent/guardian engagement and meet quality expectations
* Collaborate with school staff to align and execute program activities
* Maintain and audit program files per standards
* Assist in developing and executing special events and seasonal programs
* Participate in marketing and retention activities
* Fill in for other staff as needed
Requirements & Preferred Qualifications
* Must be 19 years of age or older, with relevant education or credentials
* Experience in childcare or education supporting high-quality programs
* Preferred: Associate's degree in child development or early childhood education
* Ability to build positive relationships and serve as a role model
* Passion for YMCA's mission and working with diverse youth
* Excellent communication skills
