We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive primary school in Wolverhampton, starting as soon as possible. As a KS1 Teacher, you will plan, deliver, and assess lessons across the Key Stage 1 curriculum. You will foster positive learning behaviours, build pupils’ confidence and independence, and ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive. Collaboration with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents is central to maintaining consistency and high standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum
* Deliver high-quality literacy, numeracy, and foundation subject teaching
* Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEND and EAL
* Promote independence, resilience, and positive behaviour
* Maintain a structured, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
* Track pupil progress and maintain accurate assessment records
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and senior leaders
* Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress
* Contribute to staff meetings, CPD sessions, and whole-school initiatives
* Support enrichment activities, school events, and extra-curricular opportunities
* Ensure safeguarding and child protection procedures are strictly followed

* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Have experience teaching Key Stage 1
