Key Responsibilities
* Provide efficient, high‑quality administrative support to clinicians, keeping services running smoothly.
* Serve as a warm and professional point of contact for patients, ensuring they feel supported from the moment they get in touch.
* Maintain quality control by ensuring all paperwork, scheduling, and administrative tasks meet the highest standards.
* Stay calm and professional at all times, putting the needs of patients first.
* Liaise with other internal departments.
* Photocopy, laminate, bind, and print documents and reports as required.
* Prepare a variety of documents and correspondence from digital dictation or notes.
* Process confidential information, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
* Book appointments and manage scheduling systems (e.g., RiO).
* Arrange and minute meetings.
* Perform data entry, including new referrals, test results, and questionnaire results.
* Use MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word); prior audio typing experience is a bonus.
Qualifications
Essential
* NVQ Level 2 or equivalent (or GCSE Maths and English at A‑C levels).
* Strong customer service skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office and keyboard/typing skills.
* Understanding of GDPR and data protection.
* High attention to detail.
* Previous customer service focused role.
* Previous administration experience.
Desirable
* Experience working in the NHS.
* RSA 2 qualification.
* Audio typing experience.
Person Specification
* Educated to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
* A‑C grade GCSE in English or equivalent.
* A‑C grade GCSE in Maths or equivalent.
