Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) / Special Educational Needs & Disabilities Sports Coach
Start Date: Autumn term 2025

About Us: Keats Engineering and Education Ltd is an alternative and speciialised provision supporting students through practical and vocational education in areas including welding, construction, mechanics, engineering, sports coaching, and PfA pathways. Our learners benefit from highly personalised approaches, tailored to their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the planning and delivery of high-quality lessons and sport sessions.
• Deliver small-group or 1:1 academic and pastoral interventions.
• Foster positive relationships with students, promoting inclusion and engagement.
• Assist in the assessment, recording, and reporting of student progress. • Provide tailored support to students with SEND, SEMH and complex needs.
• Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and behaviour management. Essential Requirements:
• HLTA status or equivalent teaching assistant qualification/experience.
• A recognised qualification in sport or physical education. • Experience supporting students with SEND and/or SEMH.
• Excellent communication, organisational and teamwork skills.
• An enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
• Subject to satisfactory safeguarding and reference checks.
