Administrator
Location: Telford. Type: Temp‑to‑Perm. Pay: £13.57 per hour. Hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
Our extremely well‑established client in Telford has asked us to recruit an administrator to support their payroll department on a temp‑to‑perm basis. The role will be based in a busy office within their small friendly payroll team.
Responsibilities
* Check and calculate hours worked by employees
* Input the correct figure of hours and/or price work into the appropriate software
* File important documents into the correct folder
* Perform general administrative duties
* Calculate overtime, shift payments and pay increases
* Issue P60s at the end of the tax year
* Deal with payroll queries
* Liaise with team leaders
* Create new starters
* Raise P45s
* Administer holiday pay
* Produce absenteeism reports
Skills and Experience
You do not need any previous payroll experience, but you must have previous office‑based administration experience. You must be numerate and have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You'll be organised, have a methodical approach and good attention to detail.
