School Mental Health Assistant - Education and Training - Milton Keynes
We are seeking a School Mental Health Assistant to join a specialist SEND school in Milton Keynes. The role is available to start immediately or from September.
Are you an aspiring Educational Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, or mental health practitioner? Or a recent graduate working toward those fields? If you have a passion for supporting children with special educational needs and social, emotional, or mental health challenges, this could be the ideal opportunity.
The school welcomes graduates in Psychology, Criminology or related fields, particularly those with aspirations toward Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Occupational Therapy, or broader mental health roles.
We value enthusiasm, resilience, and motivation to make a positive difference. Previous experience working with children is beneficial, but the school places equal value on your passion, attitude, and commitment to supporting vulnerable learners. Pupils present with a range of needs, including SEMH, autism, and behavioural difficulties.
