Crossfield Consulting Limited is a small geotechnical and environmental consultancy offering advice on all aspects of ground engineering, including large-scale earthworks and the assessment and remediation of contaminated land. We offer a combined approach to geotechnical and geoenvironmental site assessment and this helps us provide the most thorough and cost-effective service for our clients.
We currently have vacancies for engineering geologists/geotechnical engineers/geoenvironmental engineers who have enquiring minds, like challenges and enjoy solving ground-related problems. We are committed to training and developing our staff and believe that we are different to most in that we expose our staff to a wide range of projects and experiences from an early stage in their careers. Our Engineers are involved through all stages of projects from desk study researches, ground investigation supervision, interpretative report writing, preparation of remediation strategies and geotechnical specifications, and subsequent monitoring and verification of remediation and earthworks. As a smaller company, we consider that we can provide more responsibility and involvement, enabling our staff to improve their overall project management, interpretation and reporting skills. In‑house and external training will be provided where necessary and we encourage our staff to gain Chartership, as soon as they have sufficient experience.
