Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the operations of our registered home care service. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care, with particular emphasis on assisted living and dementia care. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a commitment to providing high-quality care, and the ability to manage a team effectively while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Duties
* Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care for residents.
* Actively lead the growth of the business by obtaining new packages
* Develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each resident, including those with Alzheimer's and dementia.
* Supervise and support staff, fostering a positive working environment that encourages professional development and teamwork.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices in senior care.
* Administer medications as required and oversee medication management processes within the facility.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident care, staff performance, and operational procedures.
* Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to ensure coordinated care for residents.
* Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and adjust care plans accordingly to enhance quality of life.
Experience
* Proven experience in a management role within a cqc home care setting is essential.
* Experience in managing CQC regulated services
* Must hold or be willing to work towards your NVQ Level 5 qualification
* Demonstrated ability to create effective care plans that meet individual resident needs.
* Strong supervisory experience with a focus on team leadership and staff development.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and staff alike.
* Familiarity with medication administration protocols and best practices in home care settings is advantageous.
