This opportunity offers a hybrid working arrangement, whereby the chosen applicant will be working three days a week from our client's office, located near Reading. Expand your knowledge and skills across a range of Commercial and Shell and Core projects. -Competitive hourly rate of £40-£45 (depending on experience). -Hybrid working arrangement (three days on-site). Responsibilities: -Develop detailed mechanical system designs, from concept through to completion, across a variety of Shell and Core and Commercial projects. -Create in-depth mechanical system drawings, specifications, layout, and model coordination using BIM workflows and other relevant software tools. -Ensure all designs and works comply with relevant industry regulations, standards, and codes, whilst ensuring buildability, operational efficiency, sustainability, and accuracy. -Liaise with engineers, contractors, and clients, to identify potential issues and implement proactive solutions, whilst managing edits and changes to system designs. -Promote project development initiatives, focusing on improving design processes, methodologies, and standards, allowing for consistency, sustainability, and efficiency.
