We are looking for a high caliber Lead Software Developer to join a critical Health Programme via a leading consultancy. This is a chance to work on large scale public health infrastructure that impacts millions of citizens.
You will lead the technical direction for a squad of developers, ensuring high quality delivery while navigating complex architectural challenges within a high compliance environment.
Technical Stack
* Node.js / TypeScript – Lead-level experience essential.
* Cloud & Infrastructure – AWS (Lambda, ECR, S3, SQS, EC2).
* IaC & Orchestration – Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker.
* Database – DocumentDB (DocDB).
* DevOps & Tooling – GitLab with robust CI/CD pipeline management.
Experience & Qualifications
* Public Sector / NHS experience delivering digital services.
* Central Government experience adhering to GDS standards.
* Key Leadership Skills – mentoring mid-to-senior developers, rigorous code reviews.
* Strong stakeholder communication – bridging technical and non‑technical product owners.
* Security‑First mindset – essential for handling sensitive health data.
Next Steps
Rate: £550 per day (Inside IR35)
