We are seeking a passionate and dedicated PE Teacher to join a school on a maternity cover basis, starting November 2025, potentially until October 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver high-quality physical education and contribute to the wider school curriculum.
Duties as PE Teacher:
* Plan, deliver, and assess engaging PE lessons across the relevant key stages.
* Inspire and motivate pupils to develop physical skills, teamwork, and a lifelong love of sport.
* Contribute to extra-curricular sports activities and school events.
* Support behaviour management and ensure a safe, inclusive environment for all students.
* Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and participate in school assessments and reporting.
Ideal PE Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching PE.
* Strong knowledge of the PE curriculum and sports pedagogy.
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills as a PE Teacher.
* A proactive and adaptable approach, able to motivate pupils of all abilities.
* Current Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
