About the Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to support the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily warehouse operations.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and enjoys ensuring operations run efficiently and smoothly.
You will play a key role in overseeing the safe, accurate, and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, while maintaining stock accuracy and driving strong team performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee all goods-in and goods-out activities
* Ensure accurate stock control, recording, and reporting
* Plan and coordinate daily receipts and dispatch schedules
* Support and provide cover for the Warehouse Manager when required
* Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping
* Complete all operational documentation accurately and on time
* Report accidents and near misses, implementing corrective actions where necessary
Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience within warehouse operations
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
* Good understanding of stock control processes and reporting systems
* Solid knowledge of Health & Safety practices
* Confident communicator with the ability to lead and motivate a team
* Counterbalance or Reach FLT licence (desirable)
