We are seeking enthusiastic and self-driven individual to join the Stirling team as a Therapy Assistant for 3- 4 shifts per fortnight.
Location
Nestled in the quiet residential suburb of Yokine, the recently rebuilt, (former Stirling Community Hospital) is now the modern and well-appointed Stirling Aged Care Facility. Aegis Stirling offers residential care for 133 reside and utilize state-of-the‑art equipment - providing Residents with quality care and easier working conditions for our staff.
As an integral part of the team, you will:
* Provide mobility and exercise programs to our Residents under the direction and supervision of the Physiotherapist.
* Provide recreational and other Therapeutic activity programs to our Residents under the direction and supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
* Participate in the organisation and planning of Therapy programs.
* Deliver a range of Therapy‑based activity programs as directed.
* Complete accurate documentation in line with relevant guidelines.
* Accompany Resident groups on outings.

Requirements of the role
* Hold a Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance or higher/equivalent.
* A Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent/higher or experience (Desirable but not essential).
* Have experience in a similar role preferred (Occupational Therapist Assistant or Physiotherapist Assistant).
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and coach staff to deliver quality lifestyle and therapy activities.
* Sound written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
* Have empathy with the elderly.
* Have full Australian working rights and able to pass a national police clearance.
