Role: Clinical Nurse Manager (Orthopaedics)
Position type: Full time, 37.5 hours per week. Contract: Permanent. Shift times: Monday‑Friday. Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience.
Responsibilities
* Enhance patient experiences and deliver exceptional clinical and professional leadership.
* Provide mentorship and support to junior staff, serving as a clinical expert and role model.
* Ensure highest standards of care through rigorous monitoring of personal and team clinical competence.
* Foster development initiatives, implement evidence‑based practices and deliver a quality service to patients, families and other stakeholders.
* Manage daily operations within the surgical ward, adhering to budgetary guidelines and meeting workforce planning objectives.
* Actively promote the unit within Princess Grace Hospital and HCA, and participate in relevant forums to drive continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring
* Registered Nurse qualification.
* Minimum 5 years of post‑registration experience, with at least 3 years in an orthopaedic setting.
* Specialty certification relevant to orthopaedics.
* Certification in teaching, assessing or mentorship.
* Management qualification desirable.
