Job Opportunity: Support Worker at Specialist Day Centre

A specialist day centre is seeking a dedicated and compassionate support worker to join their busy care services for young people with moderate and severe SEN and complex needs. Currently, they support over 50 individuals with diverse needs and disabilities, all united by a love of learning and education. Your role as a support worker is vital in helping these young people make life happen.
This is a part-time, permanent position starting ASAP, available all year round, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. For the part-time role, a minimum of 3 days per week is required.

Your Role Will Include:
* Supporting with life skills
* Supporting with homework, study, and educational activities
* Promoting independence among the people we support
* Supporting individuals with personal care needs
* Dealing with complex needs
* Liaising with other agencies and families when necessary
Skills Required:
* Excellent communication skills for liaising with other agencies
* A kind, nurturing, and committed individual keen to support SEN learners
* Experience working within the care sector (desirable)
* Eligibility to work in the UK
