Role Summary

Part‑time (22.20 hours per week) temporary maternity cover until December 2026.

University of Wolverhampton HR Team seeks an HR Support Team Administrator to handle HR related queries via phone, email and our service desk.


Responsibilities

* Handle queries from across the university by phone, email and the service desk.
* Support key stages in the recruitment process, including use of the online E‑Recruiter system.
* Enter accurate information onto the HR/Payroll system for new staff and monthly contract changes.
* Create contracts of employment from template letters and process Visiting Lecturer and casual appointments.


Qualifications

* Previous HR administration experience.
* Excellent administrative and interpersonal skills with ability to build working relationships and deliver excellent customer service.
* Effective keyboard skills and ability to enter data accurately into the HR/Payroll system.
* Ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines.
* Knowledge of terms and conditions of employment, employment contracts and recruitment.
