Job Description
As a Facilities Services Deputy Manager, you will support the Facilities Services Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our cleaning services operations.
You will work collaboratively with the Cleaning Supervisors and management to ensure the delivery of efficient, high-quality cleaning services and maintain exceptional standards across the Company premises. This role is crucial in ensuring our working environment remains safe, efficient, and productive for all employees.
You will have proven experience in team supervision and management, with a strong understanding of cleaning operations. Crucially, you will be passionate about developing and supporting your team.
You will be responsible for managing and motivating our team of Cleaners, Team Leaders, and Supervisors, by fostering a productive and safe working environment where every team member can thrive. This includes actively promoting teamwork, encouraging professional development, and ensuring high team morale.
The position is offered on a full-time basis, typically working Monday to Friday between the hours of 19:00-03:30.

* Proven operational or facilities management experience.
* Professional cleaning experience, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
* Excellent leadership, motivation, and team development skills.
* Full understanding of COSHH.
* Exceptional communication skills.
* Efficient and effective team management skills.
* Understand health and safety guidelines and expectations.
* Competent IT skills.
* Ability to work as part of a team or independently.
* A proactive and organised approach to tasks.
Additional Information
* Assisting the Cleaning Supervisors and management in the planning and maintenance of cleaning rotas.
* Providing support and guidance to the cleaning team, ensuring adherence to all company policies and procedures.
* Monitoring and reporting on the status of cleaning tasks, escalating any issues to the relevant parties.
* Ensuring compliance with COSHH guidelines, particularly when handling cleaning chemicals.
* Supporting in the monitoring of productivity across the department.
* Assisting with staff performance and development, including regular reviews and feedback.
* Ensuring absence and lateness are managed in line with Company policy and procedures.
* Overseeing general cleaning duties across various areas within the building, including offices, breakout areas, and restrooms.
* Contributing to the continuous improvement of cleaning services and operational efficiency.
* Completing SSOW and risk assessments.
