Junior Corporate Lawyer – Venture Capital Practice
Referment is working with a high‑growth, VC‑focused law firm to hire a junior corporate lawyer to join their expanding venture practice. This is a rare opportunity to step into a genuinely VC‑native environment where you’ll work directly with founders and investors from day one – not filter through layers of associates.
Base pay range

Responsibilities
* Advise venture‑backed startups from pre‑seed through Series A+ on venture fundraising rounds (£500k–£10m+)
* Draft term sheets, investment agreements, shareholder agreements, convertible instruments
* Provide corporate governance & restructuring advice
* Conduct due diligence & manage data rooms
* Handle board and statutory matters
Eligibility & Experience
* 1‑3 years PQE in corporate law
* Trained at an international firm, boutique, or strong regional practice
* Strong drafting skills and commercial awareness
* VC/startup exposure helpful but not essential
