The Role
As a Support Worker, the focus is on enabling individuals to live life on their own terms through practical, emotional, and social support.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting daily living skills such as cooking, budgeting, and personal routines
* Delivering person-centred support that reflects individual needs, choices, and aspirations
* Promoting health and wellbeing, including support with medical appointments
* Encouraging social inclusion, education, training, and employment opportunities
* Administering medication safely and following safeguarding procedures
* Championing equality, diversity, and human rights in everyday practice
