Scientific Drilling International is looking for a Contracts Assistant. This position is located at our International headquarters in Dyce, Scotland. Duties & Responsibilities
* Managing and prioritizing workload of the Contracts Manager.
* Administer general administration duties.
* Receives, prioritizes and tracks incoming correspondence.
* Distributes and tracks outgoing correspondence related to the company's international customer contracts and other requests for legal assistance as directed by the Contracts Manager.
* Reviews and prepares comments to contracts & incoming bid documents/RFPs related to the company's international business under the direction of the Contracts Manager.
* Prepares and finalizes contracts for the Contracts Manager, and indexes and files final versions of contracts in both electronic and paper formats.
* Analyzes existing contracts to respond to questions from the Contracts Manager.
* Coordinates certificates of insurance and review of insurance provisions in international customer contracts by interfacing with the company's insurance brokers.
* Prepares corporate documents for review and approval the Contracts Manager; assists with the maintenance of the company's international corporate record books.
* Assist with Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance including Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act Regulations (FATCA) and Common Reporting Standard Requirements (CRS) as required by banks and other external parties.
* Performs other relevant duties as requested by management.
Education/Experience
* Experience with contracts/transactional legal work as primary focus is preferred.
* Applicable or relevant degree level qualification or higher preferred.
* Knowledge of oil and gas industry preferred.
