Staff work collaboratively to ensure each child receives personalised support and the very best start to their educational journey. As a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting children aged 0–5, working closely with room leaders and practitioners to deliver high-quality care and learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Supporting planned activities across the EYFS curriculum, including communication and language, early literacy, and numeracy Facilitating play-based, child-led learning both indoors and outdoors Building positive, nurturing relationships with children to support their emotional and social development Observing, assessing, and contributing to children’s learning journals Supporting children with personal care routines where required Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment Working in partnership with colleagues and parents to ensure consistent care and development We Are Looking For: A Level 3 EYFS qualification (essential) Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting A warm, caring, and patient nature with a genuine love for working with young children A strong understanding of child development and the EYFS framework Excellent communication and teamwork skills A commitment to safeguarding, equality, and inclusive practice Reliability, enthusiasm, and a proactive approach All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
