Location: Bestwood Village School, Nottingham NG6 8TL
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm
Salary: £21,843.75 per annum
Contract: Permanent; Term Time only

As part of our continued growth, we’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join our close-knit and supportive team at Bestwood Village School, part of Options Autism.
About the role
Enjoy a rewarding education career and have a real impact on pupils’ lives. You will work with a team to create supportive, nurturing environments where pupils achieve more than expected. You will connect directly with pupils, helping to ensure they get the best from their education. Roles include preparing learning materials, running classroom activities, and providing supervision as needed. You will support pupils’ emotional and physical needs to help them develop as individuals and engage with the world.
Responsibilities
* Assist pupils with learning activities and run classroom activities as required
* Prepare learning materials and support pupils’ individual learning journeys
* Support pupils’ emotional and physical needs and promote their wellbeing
* Adapt activities for varied needs and work as part of ateam to support inclusion
Who we are looking for
The successful applicant will be adaptable and ready to work in a variety of classroom roles, indoors and outdoors according to individual need. A responsive and caring approach is essential, with teamwork and mutual support across our schools.
* Qualifications: Level 1-3 Teaching Assistant
* Flexible, supportive, and capable of guiding learning for pupils with diverse needs

Bestwood Village School is a brand-new school in Bestwood Village, Nottingham with capacity for 30 pupils. Options Autism has provided care and education to pupils and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties for over 16 years.
