We are seeking a proactive and skilled IT Technician to join our dedicated support team at Talbot Heath School. This is an exciting and varied role, ideal for someone with a passion for technology and education. You will provide first and second-line support to staff and pupils across a wide range of devices and systems, including Windows, Apple, and AV equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. In addition to technical troubleshooting, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our innovative digital learning environment and technology in our cutting-edge STEAM hub. With strong communication skills, a calm and professional manner, and a readiness to learn, you'll deliver outstanding support that underpins teaching, learning, and school life. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills in a collaborative and forward-thinking educational setting.
The successful candidate will be:
●A confident and approachable IT support professional with excellent communication skills and the ability to assist users of all ages and technical abilities.
●Technically skilled, with hands-on experience in Windows, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and hardware troubleshooting.
●Organised and proactive, able to prioritise tasks effectively and respond swiftly to helpdesk requests with a calm, solution-focused attitude.
●A collaborative team player, comfortable working alongside teaching staff, pupils, and colleagues to enhance the school’s digital learning environment.
●Committed to continuous improvement, eager to develop their knowledge, adapt to new technologies, and support the evolving needs of a forward-thinking school.
