As a Software Engineer III in Asset & Wealth Management, you will design and deliver trusted, market‑leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You will work as a key member of an agile team, carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas to support our business objectives. Job Responsibilities:
* Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting
* Create secure and high‑quality production code and maintain algorithms
* Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications
* Ensure design constraints are met during software code development
* Gather, analyze, and synthesize data to develop visualizations and reporting
* Drive continuous improvement of software applications and systems
* Identify hidden problems and patterns in data to improve coding hygiene and system architecture
* Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events
* Explore new and emerging technologies
* Add to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
* Proficient in coding in Java (17+) and well versed in Test‑Driven Development (TDD)
* Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts
* Hands‑on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
* Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment
* Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
* Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
* Solid understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
* Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile)
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
* Familiarity with modern front‑end technologies
* Exposure to cloud technologies
